Travel Update: Covid-19

Dear Guest

We have been inundated over the last few days with queries and messages as a result of the recent Coronavirus outbreak, we therefore apologise for any delay in responding to your messages.

IMPORTANT: DUE TO THE CORONAVIRUS OUTBREAK AND CONSEQUENT RISK TO PUBLIC HEALTH, BATHEN HOUSE WILL NOW BE CLOSED FOR CHECK-IN BETWEEN TUESDAY THE 24th MARCH AND TUESDAY 30th JUNE.

We apologise for the inconvenience this closure may cause you. As a business we must now facilitate the cancellation and amendment of several hundred reservations, we therefore ask for your cooperation in carefully following the instructions below…

FREE CANCELLATION RESERVATIONS

• If you have a FREE CANCELLATION reservation with an online website such as Booking.com, Expedia or Hotels.com then it is YOUR responsibility to raise the cancellation for your reservation as soon as possible. The Hotel is not able to intervene to cancel or adjust bookings for third party operators. Booking.com & affiliate websites can be contacted on (+44 020 3320 2635). Expedia & affiliate websites including Hotels.com can be contacted on (+44 020 3027 8181).

• If you would only like to change the date of your stay under a free cancellation reservation then under the terms of the reservation it is YOUR responsibility to raise the date amendment for your stay as soon as possible with your third party website operator. The Hotel is not able to intervene to cancel or adjust bookings from third party operators. Please use the contact numbers above.

• If you change the date of your stay under a free cancellation booking you will not be charged twice and no extra charge will be applied unless you choose a future date with a higher nightly rate.

• If you do not make a submission to amend the date of your free cancellation reservation and if you do not cancel at least 3 days before your original check-in date then you may be charged the full amount of your reservation automatically on the same day as the original check-in date.

• All free cancellation reservations made direct with Bathen House may be cancelled simply with an email stating your booking reference number and request to cancel.

NON-REFUNDABLE RESERVATIONS

• Please understand it is not possible to refund NON-REFUNDABLE bookings, however due to these exceptional circumstances the Hotel is willing to grant a free ‘change of date request’.

• This request for a non-refundable date change must be sent directly to info@bathenhouse.co.uk

• In your email you must include the following; (1) The reservation name and reference number for your original booking. (2) A contact telephone number and email address. (3) A new check-in date which must match the same weeknight as your original booking, i.e. Monday the 20th April changed to Monday 19th October.

• A new check-in date may be selected between the following dates:  August - October 2020 or January - March 2021. No other new check-in dates will be accepted.

• All date amendment requests must be received no later than 2 weeks after your original check-in date or your amendment request will not be accepted.
